Lapis Lazuli Mala

Stunning Lapis Mala using gorgeous 8mm gemstone beads.  The two counter beads are Lapis and Turquoise set in Tibetan gold, as are the tassel beads. The beautiful Guru bead, in a large teardrop shape, is Lapis, Turquoise & Red Coral also set in Tibetan gold.

The healing properties for Lapis are: it’s called the “Stone of Awareness” because it aids in expanding awareness and intellectual capacity. It can activate and energize the Throat and 3rd Eye Chakras which provides a connection to creative source. Stimulates emotional, mental and physical purity and clarity.

The mantra I used when making this mala:

OM MANI PADME HUM

This mantra is used to call forth blessings and guidance from Avalokitshvara, who is the Buddha of Universal Compassion.

Remember, each mala is hand-made, hand knotted & the beads hand chosen by me. My malas are unique & meaningful for that reason alone, however another distinction is that while I make each mala in mantra & meditation, the gemstones used, the Guru bead chosen & the mantra are ALL carefully selected to coordinate with & enhance each other.
